Last 2019, as part of a publicity stunt, the locals of an island in Northern Norway wanted to abolish time. According to them, having the Midnight Sun, they tried to do what they wanted, when they wanted it. This is the old fishing village of Sommarøy, which spends several months in darkness, but in summer experiences the sun 24/7. The place is known for its jaw-dropping vistas and white sand beaches.
